How to Donate to Our Club

The Woodworkers of Central New York, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) registered NYS Corporation. It's members are a very diverse group in that we serve as a focal point for all genres of woodworking. Club members create a wide variety of projects for themselves and their family but also as for any of the club's charitable projects listed below. If you would like to donate to our club with a designation that the funds are used to support a charitable project, please feel free to do so. If you need a letter to support your donation, please indicate in the notes field so one can be sent.

There Are 2 Ways You Can Process Donations:

1. Make an Online Donation at the page HERE. If you need a letter regarding your donation or want to make a large donation, send a note to [email protected]

2. Download a hardcopy of the form HERE and send your check made out to Woodworkers of CNY along with the form to the Treasurer at:

Charitable Projects (examples, may not include everything)

Turn for Troops - Members generate pens that are destined for active duty servicemen & women. Pen component kits cost upwards of $10 each. Some kits are donated by Woodcraft, the project sponsor. Additional funds will be used to purchase more kits to generate more pens. More info HERE
Beads of Courage Boxes - Member produce boxes that are donated to Upstate and destributed to various children facing life-threatening illness so they can store the beads they are given for treatments. More info HERE
Toys for Economically Disadvantaged Children - Members produce a variety of toys that are donated to a local food panty at Christmas for their distribution to kids who otherwise might not receive a gift. More info HERE
Crafts for Charity - Members donate items which are sold at craft shows and funds donated to local children-based charities. More info HERE
Tops for Charity - Members make tops (spinner) that are sold during the NYS Fair with funds generated donated to two children-based charities. More info HERE
