Be Mine!
This 11 inch diameter maple segmented dish is inlayed with eight 2" black walnut hearts and then finished with Osmo.  It was created for my SWEETIE PIE.

And then filled it with HUGS AND KISSES!  HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

Artist is James Farrell. 
It should be noted that Jim wrote his own project description with the sentiments for his wife.

Heart Vase  A lacy heart design is pierced on both sides of this cherry vase that is 4" tall and 2 1/2" in diameter.  Artist is Ed Siegel.

Together Forever 2!  The intertwined hearts are carved from cherry then added to the 7 1/2" white oak bowl frame.  The frame is wood burned with a small round burning tip to reveal the heartfelt words.  Both are finished with Osmo oil.  Artist is Rick Kiehl.

Love for My Love!   Five layers of 1/4" Baltic birch plywood were cut on the scrollsaw  and then assembled and stained with Ipswich pine stain to create this beautiful plaque for  the artist's wife.   This is the artist's interpretation of a multi-layer pattern purchased from Alex Fox of the Ukraine.  Artist is Robert Ward.

A Heart for Your Treasures!  Bandsaw box of maple and padauk that is 5 1/2 inches high by 6 inches wide by 3 inches deep.  The box inside is flocked and the entire box is finished with spray-on poly.  Box completed prior to the bandsaw box demonstration.  In progress photos added below.  Artist is Steve Sabella

Reflections of My Love!  Decorative wall hanging scrolled of 1/8" Baltic birch plywood then finished with red hue wood stain and shellac.  Mounted on mirrored plexiglass inside a red oak frame finished with Danish oil.  Artist is Don Vanderveer.

Mr. Bunny & His Hearts   A Valentine's Day bunny carved from storm-dropped local aspen.  He stands 4" tall and is 1 1/2" wide.  He is accompanied by a pair of 2 1/2" basswood hearts.  He will be hopping into someone's life to bring them a Happy Valentine's Day!  Artist is Todd Reilly.

Together Forever!   The scrolled hands and heart showcases a lifetime of togetherness for the artist with their partner.  A slab of wood forms the background with paper to highlight the painted image.  A white flower enhances the plaque. Artist is Elaine Negrotto.
Small But Special Gifts    Coaster for my wonderful wife, and one for our granddaughter as a gift to her fiancé commemorating their engagement date.
Epoxy filled poplar coasters, freehand wood burned lettering and arrows, with red ink stained hearts sliced from a basswood heart profiled ring.  Artist is Larry Prunotto.

Built-in Valentine!    Carving out this cherry burl found in woods outside Redfield revealed the perfect Valentine - a built-in heart!  Carving was not intended for contest.  Artist is Kenn Pickard.

Key Chain to My Heart in a Bowl of Love
Red heart bowl band sawed to a heart shape then turned to make a bowl that holds a poplar turned key chain that was painted metallic red.  Both pieces have a lacquer final finish.  Artist is Robert Love.

Cheers!  Two miniature sycamore goblets adorned with simple hearts as a special gift o my honey on this Valentine's Day!  Goblets are just 4 1/4" tall and the top is 1" in diameter.  The dime in the 3rd picture provides a reference for size.  Artist is Charlie LaPrease.
