The Beaver Lake Golden Harvest Festival is held the first weekend after Labor Day. Members of the Carvers Committee have demonstrated at this event for many years. In conjunction with their demonstration, the group sells chances for a carved piece.
The Festival returns for 2021 on September 11th & 12th. The club returns with another great raffle prize - this year a plant stand with two shelves that contain carved blocks. Come visit our booth to buy raffle tickets for this great prize!
The group made a 14 block high cane in 2019 won by Ms. Sedano of Baldwinsville. Here is a photo of members Elaine Negrotto and Arlene Schlueter selling tickets during the Festival and published on the front page of the Baldwinsville Messenger.

For 2018, the carved piece was a walking stick with 11 blocks. As a result of raffle sales, $300.50 was donated to the Friends of Beaver Lake Nature Center. The letter sending our donation and the kind response can be viewed here. Below are photos of the completed stick and the individual pieces.
