Membership in the Woodworkers of Central New York (WWCNY) runs from January 1 to December 31. Anyone who joins from October 1 forward automatically receives their membership for the following year. We do receive members throughout the year but do no prorate memberships based on when you join. The Board continues to keep the membership price reasonable at just $25 for individuals and $35 for families with Junior free (with an adult membership).
Membership Categories
- Individual - $25 per year - Anyone 18 years of age or older
- Family - $35 per year - Adults 18 years of age or older in an immediate family, living at the same address. May include children who wish to be Junior members.
- Junior - Free with Adult Member - Anyone from age 8 to 17 years of age, under the sponsorship and accompaniment of a legal guardian, who must be a Woodworkers of Central New York member.
- Honorary - Awarded by the Board of Directors based on a person's long-term contribution to woodworking in Central New York.
- One-Day Membership - $5 - This membership is presented for a person who is not a club member to attend a workshop or working meeting where they are actively carving, scrolling, turning or whatever and be covered by the club's insurance. It is not meant for people to use to attend a meeting as a guest. We do not charge for guests to attend our meetings. If the person joins the club within one month of the event they attended, their $5 fee goes toward their membership but that adjustment can only be made when processing their membership in person to the treasurer or secretary.
How to Process Your Membership:
We have 2 ways for you to join or renew your membership:
1. Complete the online membership form HERE and process your payment using Square (you do not need a Square account to use this method)
2. Download a hardcopy of the form HERE and send your check (do not mail cash) along with the form to the Treasurer at:

If you process a new membership and don't receive a welcoming email in a couple weeks, please check your Spam or Junk folders for the email. If you don't see it, please send an email to [email protected] to check on the status of your membership.
