Turning

The Woodturning Committee of the Woodworkers of Central New York, Inc. (formerly the Central New York Woodturners) generally meets on the Second (2nd) Tuesday of the month.
Meetings start at 6:30pm. Each "meeting" includes a demonstration, Show & Tell session, Monthly Challenge session, and time to interact with your fellow woodturners. Often there are raffles of wood, tools, etc.
The Woodworkers of Central New York is proud to be a Chapter of the American Association of Woodturners.

* Weather Permitting! During the cold months, the workshops are for turning only and members pay $5 to turn. Once the weather breaks, all members are welcome to attend to carve, scroll, etc. in the outer area of the Event Center. The club pays for use and no one pays.

The Daniel Parrish Witter Agricultural Museum is located on the grounds of the New York State Fair in Solvay, NY, just
   north of Syracuse, NY. The Museum is located down Restaurant Row directly across from the Coliseum. It is the oldest
building on the Fairgrounds property.
