Many demonstrations cannot be conducted during our various meetings due to the equipment they need or the mess they will make.  A new club event was started in 2023 - our Woodworking Soiree.  The first one was held on July 22nd to provide several of these demonstrations for members to attend and/or participate in.  The club erected a large tent under which several of the demonstrators were housed while others will be in the open space or in the workshop area.  The event is held at the club's workshop location, Eight Acres Event Center. Comments from the 100+ people who attended in 2023 indicated the event needed to be repeated.  We repeated the event in 2024 on July 20th and we erected two tents for that event.  Again, it was very popular.  We've set the date for 2025 - Saturday, July 12th.  Plan to attend.
