Mike Vecellio is a very generous man. A retired teacher, he spends many hours creating projects that he gifts to those he believes needs them. A few years ago, he began making pens - using a drill press as his lathe. He joined the club, learned more about traditional lathes, and acquired one. Since then he's made many pens and tops - all to gift. These planes are also made to gift. Using scrap wood, he's created this small fleet to give to kids that may need one. Thanks MIke for your generosity.

Barbara Raymond-LaPrease showed a variety of projects she's working on. She left the stacked cherry and walnut lidded box apart to show how it is made. The same with the lacewood bowl. The base of the bowl will be burned and colorized. The cottonwood wolf plaque will get a backer and some color. The small pieces were cut as demo pieces for the marbling demo.
